Mikey the Monkey and his friends, through their experiences as told in the books, subtlely and metaphorically convey positive messages to children. A further differentiator is the notes at the end of each story, separately for children and parents/teachers. For children, the notes consolidate and reinforce the learning, prompting them to reflect on and apply the lesson.
